ABOUT

Starting Young...

Before I took piano lessons, I loved to sing about almost anything that happened in my elementary school life and have gone from singing about my best-est of friends to singing about boys I had a crush on. Whenever I got home from school, I would try to play on the piano and make up accompaniments to go with my lyrics about my crazy, nonsense childhood. I wasn't the best piano player as a seven year old, but I knew I wanted to major in the arts and really show everyone what I'm made of.

My mom thought I should take piano lessons to build my hidden talent from within. When I started piano lessons, I liked it and practiced a lot, so I could be a great pianist, but later as I continued to go to my piano lessons, I practiced even less and got behind on my technique, resulting me to take a break from piano lessons for a while. Since then, I started to write composed songs after I had turned nine, with the help of my previous lessons. A lot of my songs where not keep-able and I have forgotten most of them, but as I pushed myself harder to create a masterpiece at the age of ten, I have created my very own original piece, "Sunset 'Til Dusk" .

I got back to piano lessons and started to develop more on my music theory and sight reading. As I continued in this learning process, I wrote more songs 'till I had enough to make my very first album called 'Galaxy' . With the help of my family members, I created a hard-copy CD to sell all over Vancouver, Portland, and anywhere else that might be great for spreading my love through music.

I have noticed that it is helpful to share my songs with others who need a little pick me up as they might be going through hard and stressful times. I have realized that creating my own music is not only a talent that I am good at, but most importantly, others can feel the spirit and love that is shared for them individually. I always love putting a smile on someone's face after they had just been a little grumpy.

And yes, there have been amazing miracles that have happened as I have shared my music in cities, parks, schools, great events and in my own community that have inspired me to write even more songs that can have the same impact on others who are waiting to hear more of my songs. Thanks to my family, teachers, friends, and to the great many who have made my CD selling successful to go towards my very own grand piano.
